         Rajeev Brothers Folk Arts Academy Managing Director Ratnakar Vallabhapurapu congratulated Anmish Varma for being a World's 1st Karate Champion of India.

            26 Years old Anmish Varma Bhupathiraju from Vizag has won a Gold Medal at World Kickboxing and Karate Union (WKU) World Championship being held in Austria. A total 2000 people form 40 cuntries are participating in the championship.

            The six-day world championship, being held at Breagenz, began on October 15 and will conclude on October 21.

            Some of the participating nations in the competition are USA, England, Germany, Canada and Netherlands. However, only two people from India are participating in the competition, both of whom are from Andhra Pradesh.

Anmish Varma Bhupatiraj had also won two medals in a kickboxing and karate championship held in Ireland last Year. Spaking to TOI, Anmish said, “ I am overjoyed at having been able to bring so many laurels to may state and Conutry.”

He also expressed his happiness over karate being included in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. “It will encourage budding players,” he said.
